Welcome to ParrotOS Academy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ParrotOS Academy platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
By creating an account, accessing content, or using any feature of ParrotOS Academy, you affirm that you are at least thirteen years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
ParrotOS Academy is an online educational platform providing cybersecurity training, ethical hacking tutorials, and penetration testing education. The Platform offers interactive learning modules, quizzes, hands-on labs, community forums, progress tracking, gamification features, and certificates of completion. All core educational content is provided free of charge, with optional paid features and donations to support the Platform.
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account using OAuth 2.0 authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information as necessary. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
You may not create an account using false information, impersonate another person or entity, or create multiple accounts for abusive purposes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
ParrotOS Academy provides cybersecurity education for ethical, legal, and authorized purposes only. All techniques, tools, and methodologies taught on the Platform are intended for use in authorized security testing, educational environments, and lawful cybersecurity research.
You agree that you will not use the knowledge, skills, or tools learned through the Platform to engage in any unauthorized computer access, hacking, or illegal activity. Unauthorized access to computer systems is a crime under federal law, including the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. ยง 1030), and under the laws of many states and countries.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the techniques and tools taught on the Platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations. You must obtain proper written authorization before conducting any security assessments, penetration tests, or vulnerability scans on systems you do not own or control.
Important: ParrotOS Academy is not responsible for any illegal, unauthorized, or unethical use of the information provided through the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ParrotOS Academy from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from your misuse of the Platform or the techniques taught herein.
The Platform and its entire contents, features, and functionality, including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, audio, course materials, tutorials, quizzes, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are owned by ParrotOS Academy, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Platform without prior written permission.
The Platform may allow you to post, submit, publish, or display content, including forum posts, comments, and other materials (collectively, "User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant ParrotOS Academy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights to your User Content, that your User Content does not violate these Terms, and that your User Content will not cause injury to any person or entity. You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it.
You agree not to use the Platform to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
Upon successful completion of learning paths or courses with a passing score of seventy percent or higher on all required quizzes, you may earn a certificate of completion. These certificates are non-accredited educational documents that acknowledge your completion of ParrotOS Academy coursework.
Important Disclaimer: Certificates issued by ParrotOS Academy are not professional certifications, licenses, or credentials recognized by any accrediting body, employer, or educational institution. They do not represent accredited qualifications or certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or other industry-recognized credentials. ParrotOS Academy makes no representations about the value, recognition, or acceptance of certificates by third parties.
Certificates are for personal educational achievement and portfolio purposes only. They may not be altered, modified, or misrepresented. We reserve the right to revoke certificates if we determine that they were obtained through fraudulent means, cheating, or violation of these Terms.
ParrotOS Academy offers optional paid features and accepts voluntary donations to support the Platform. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
Donations: One-time donations are non-refundable and are considered voluntary contributions to support free educational content.
Subscriptions: Monthly or annual subscriptions provide access to premium features. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

ParrotOS Academy is committed to keeping all core educational content free and accessible. This includes learning modules, quizzes, progress tracking, basic forum access, and certificates of completion. We reserve the right to introduce premium features, advanced content, or additional services that may require payment, but we will maintain free access to fundamental cybersecurity education.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Your interactions with third-party organizations are solely between you and such third parties.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
PARROTOS ACADEMY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE PLATFORM OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PARROTOS ACADEMY, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO PARROTOS ACADEMY IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ParrotOS Academy from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform, including any illegal or unauthorized use of cybersecurity techniques learned through the Platform.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your account settings.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Informal Resolution: Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If a dispute is not resolved within sixty days of submission, you or ParrotOS Academy may bring a formal proceeding.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least thirty days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use the Platform after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
